During that session down in Salem, Ghosts was recorded. Just John, guitar and stereo pair. The other cuts were recorded by Jeff Allman but I was given the four tracks and allowed to go wild with the mix. Garbage is harsh electronics which reminds me of early Controlled Bleeding. You Can't Cool Off is a distorto vocal and guitar drone which will chill your bones. Drowns Hope is just guitar with echo and a light drone in the background. A departure from the Tim/Kerr CD from earlier this year. I really like the mix I did since I was able to do what ever I wanted. You might say it was my first crack as a remix engineer. This double seven inch was also mentioned in Rolling Stone.
